Trick or Treat!!!

Trick or treating at the square.... We really had a great experience.  We got there early, made it to almost all the booths, and then went to the DQ for supper.  After that, we came back to our 'hood for some real trick or treating.

Hmmmm.....  Checking out the pirate at Pirate Graphics.  Not so sure about it.  Asked me multiple times if it was real.

Playing a beanbag toss game at Brooks Hardware...
Our wonderful neighbors Mr Rudy and Mrs Jonelle.
 We visited Nannie King...

 And Jan and Frank...

Our last stop was the Scott's.  Porter was very concerned about her dancing broom, and wouldn't get any closer than this.
And retreated to the safety of the bushes once he deemed Mrs. Scott a real witch.  So funny.  No candy at that house.  He was glad to leave with his life....

School Fall Fun Day!!!

Today at school porter had an awesome day planned!  They had a hayride across the street to  their own little pumpkin patch, got to listen to the story about the scarecrow and the spider, picked out a pummpkin, and then had all kinds of treats to pick from at the "farmer's market."  I'll let the pictures tell the story....

Happy Halloween Stella!!

Poor little thrown away Stella. She trick or treated (kinda--she didn't get any candy) at the square, but then went home with nana while porter and I trick or treated in our neighborhood. Although, she had a fine time with nana, who fed her pound cake the whole time we were gone. Here's her Halloween post, since the next few are dedicated to porter....

BTW--she was a cupcake.

#4: Saturday with Cold

I worked the ER last Saturday, so porter spent the day with "Cold" (aka Nicole), and Stella stayed with Nannie (I don't have any pics from Nannie). Cold sent me some pics throughout the day. They had a blast carving pumpkins with friends, although I understand porter played more than he carved.

His pirate pumpkin--thanks to Nicole.

Ropin' --Jerry ward, you got a student!!!

#3: tumbling

Porter had parent's day at his tumbling class last week. He did not want anybody there watching him. He is very shy about all of his singing and tumbling. He did this the first half of class...

Once he finally warmed up he did well and showed me all his "tricks."
