Porter's Birdwell's

The Birdwell's sent a couple of pair of trunks for Porter when I ordered mine last summer. His finally fit just in time for beach weather.

Snack time

We've discovered the waterhose today. Now he is back inside, with no pants on, having a snack at his little table.

Ou-tide

Favorite word and favorite place. As soon as we walk in, he is pointing and saying ou-tide, as he walks back toward the door. Nevermind that it's 45 degrees outside. He'll still go. He's an equal opportunity weather partaker. I think we may have to baby barracade in par of the front yard and just leave the front door open. I'm standing outside now swinging him and freezing my tail off.

Fairhope day 3

Yes, we went back for a third day. Porter was already saying outside at 7:00 this morning, so we went to stroll mostly. There were a few things I wanted to look at, and mama and bill had a few more stops too. It was cold and wet, so we ended up having to get a little blanket for porter while we were there.

And I got a couple small cutting boards from the spoon people we have purchased from in the past.

The highlight was porter getting his face painted. He did so good!

He also got to play in a firetruck.

Fairhope day 2

We had a really great time...
Catherine got her face painted.

Porter chilled.

And slept.

And saw the train expo.

This is a photograh on canvas we got.

And a necklace I got.

Fairhope arts and crafts

Here is my "major" purchase from fairhope this year. It's an original, which is really cool because most originals are too expensive for me. The girl who painted it was really nice and she has just started a blog for her artwork. I'll be posting a link when I get back to a computer. This will go nicely with all our other beachy and key west style decor.

Porter got a cloth "busy book" that has all kinds of little tasks to keep toddlers busy, a pull toy frog, and a couple of summer outfits.

Nicole, Catherine, and Caroline, are on their way down now, and Parrish, Katie, and Sylvie are coming down in the morning.
