FBC fall festival and Halloween morning

Porter spent a little time we me at work yesterday afternoon....

Stella got her face painted!! This is a very big deal for the less adventurous Harden child.

She liked the bouncy houses though!!

Lately

Here's a few pics for the last week or so....

The fair--Stella rode a couple of things and decided she really didn't like rides after all.

Strep throat for Stella this week. Worn out after fighting with dr Baldwin all morning.

Porter had fever all night last night and felt awful. Same this morning. Found out he has strep at the doctor. We got his antibiotic, ran by the grocery store to pick up more motrin and a couple of other things we needed and home to rest. He felt terrible. He decided he wanted no fire for lunch but all he wanted was a bowl of soup with lots of noodles. He got it....

After lunch he got a good nap and now he feels much better!! No fever!! He was ready to carve his pumpkin.
Looks great!

We saved the seeds and they are in the oven now!

Lafayette kinda weekend

3/4 of the harden family made the trip to Cajun palms Friday to spend the weekend with the other 1/4. Saturday morning we went to a music/Cajun food festival and listened to zydeco music and had some good Cajun food. Saturday night at the campground the kids got to trick or treat. They loved it even though it was raining. Fun, quick weekend.... And now we miss daddy again.
