Sick day??

Porter had fever all night last night and felt awful. Same this morning. Found out he has strep at the doctor. We got his antibiotic, ran by the grocery store to pick up more motrin and a couple of other things we needed and home to rest. He felt terrible. He decided he wanted no fire for lunch but all he wanted was a bowl of soup with lots of noodles. He got it....


After lunch he got a good nap and now he feels much better!! No fever!! He was ready to carve his pumpkin.

We saved the seeds and they are in the oven now!

Lafayette kinda weekend

3/4 of the harden family made the trip to Cajun palms Friday to spend the weekend with the other 1/4. Saturday morning we went to a music/Cajun food festival and listened to zydeco music and had some good Cajun food. Saturday night at the campground the kids got to trick or treat. They loved it even though it was raining. Fun, quick weekend.... And now we miss daddy again.

Soccer Game #3

Tonight Porter scored 2 goals and had 1 assist! He is really having a good time and getting better.

Thursday night lights!!!

Porter's 2nd soccer game was last night and he scored a goal again!  He was so excited and said he wanted to make another goal.  And one every game!!  I'm glad he is enjoying it.
Of course I was all ready for more pictures so Jared could somewhat experience soccer too, but my camera didn't want to cooperate quite as well as the first game.  The pics are a little blurry at times, but still gonna post them.
