Back to Disney: More Animal Kingdom--Pangani Exploration Trail

Ok. I'm back to Disney. Hopefully I will finish getting all the posts done this weekend. This attraction walks you through several different "habitats?' with monkeys, birds, fish, gorillas, and some I'm forgetting about.

Boots!

An emerging favorite clothing article. The rest he could do without.

Porter has a little problem with clothes these days. He doesn't like them. It's difficult to convince him to get dressed in the morning. As soon as the pj's are shed, he's gone. He does like the boots though.

Birthday Steak and Cake

Menu for Birthday Dinner: Steak. And more steak. He loves it, and asks for it all the time.




He hid his face when we were singing to him.

A Hotdog (aka Mickey Mouse Clubhouse) Birthday Cake!




He actually did blow out some of the candles. And then he wanted to "bow ow" his toys in the bathtub later.

And a little taste to make sure it's good. He just helped himself to it!










I can't believe he's two, but at times it seems like it has taken forever to get where we are. Either way, I wouldn't change a thing. Happy Birthday Porter!!!

Kilamanjaro Safari

We did this last year and it was a great ride. Got to see lots of animals. Porter slept through it last year. This year he didn't want to sit still for it. We had to keep switching camera for child. The best time of day to do this one is early in the morning because the animals are all "fresh" and they tend to be out and about for people to see. We went straight to it first after the opening ceremony and we were on one of the first jeeps of the day.
