Random pictures

Porter and the baby that cried all the way home one day.

The elf is back. The concept doesn't work with porter and its a pain to remember to move it everyday. I think that's a good daddy duty from here on out.

Cute little girl on the way to school. (We were stopped at a stop sign. Behind several cars. )

Same thing. Different day. Plus the thumb.

Thinking about walking. But not.

This baby loves any fuzzy animal or blanket.

Alabama vs auburn

Jared and I got to take a little kid free trip to the Alabama/Auburn game this year. Fun day. Stress free game. The next game made up for that!! (Post for that will follow)

I got to reminisce about the good ole days and caught up with a college friend. And big al made an appearance at the trumpet warm up. I have said this many times, and I will repeat it here: being in a college marching band was one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life and those were some of the lean years for the football program. I cannot imagine how exciting and fun it is to be a part of a championship season of any kind--much less the opportunity to be at the national championship.

We need a pitcher, not a belly itcher

Somebody taught porter that one on thanksgiving while he was taking a little batting practice.
Poppie made him a batters box.

Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful thanksgiving in mobile with the Harden family. We had fun looking through old pictures--we started out looking for old pictures of Jared to see if Stella has any of her daddy's genes other than height and ears (the don't have the harden stick out--but they are his ears). Here is what we came up with. She at least got a little more daddy than brother.

This one doesn't have much to do with who Stella looks like, but its just classic. We all came up with funny captions. I can't help but laugh every time I see it.

"Will somebody please come get this damn baby off me?"

Am I still 4?

This was asked several times a few days after porter's birthday party. That, and "when am I gonna be 5?"
Porter enjoyed going through all his birthday cards after his party. We read them all several times.

Plenty of time to blog today!!

I had to pull up my blog to see what my last post was. I have got to play catch up. Nothing major has happened, I don't think, but I have lots I random pictures and thoughts I need to record. I keep thinking that this I my way of scrapbooking, and that one day I will make a hard copy of this thing....
As has been the usual fashion when I do these catch up days, I will have multiple small posts. My phone and the cellular network prefer it that way.
One pic to start us off--this is the p pots having breakfast in bed. "Bars" as they are called. Big mistake for Stella. She turned her bar into crumbs. I had to change the sheets. This is the first time she would actually lay back and chill in bed though. She mostly thinks this bed is a trampoline.
