In our new/old house there was not a real master suite with a nice master bath, so we decided to make a guest room/sunporch combo into a master suite. We are enlarging the bedroom and closing in a glass porch to make a real master bath. I didn't take pictures of what it looked like originally, but just imagine the new wall that is just studs right now being a wall of old windows and a door out into a glassed in room with really old linoleum floors and mostly unfinished walls against the house.
This is what the master bedroom and bathroom look like now.......

Caroline's Birthday Party
Last Week/Golf Course/Playing with camera
Quick update from Biloxi
I have lots to update, but the 2 1/2 hours I'm spending on the road is cutting into my blogging time. I am in day 3 of the Biloxi VA rotation, and only have 6 more days after today! (Work days) Wow, it still isn't that real that I am almost done. Maybe it will sink in next week.
I have pictures from this weekend that I plan on getting posted this evening after Porter goes to bed. Topics for this evening:
Caroline's Birthday
Progress on the Bathroom addition and painting
iPhone 4

PIctures from today
Taken with MY NEW CAMERA. For my birthday, Jared helped me get a digital SLR camera. I have been looking at them, but it's a big purchase, so I was saving up and trying to decide which one to get. Best Buy has a deal going on right now where you can get the D5000 camera with an 18-55mm lens, 55-200mm lens, 8 gb memory card, and camera bag that will hold it all for $889! Great deal! It allowed me to get way more than I was going to be able to get originally. I used my iphone money, but that's ok since it doesn't look like there will be any to buy until sometime in August.
I'm pretty pleased so far. Well, as long as all goes well when I push the "Publish Post" button. The pictures were very easy to transfer to the computer, and in wonderful Mac style, all I had to do was plug in the camera and push import. They even imported in the right orientation, which does not happen with my old kodak.

On the way to daycare
Up at 5:00 am
What were we up for??? Raisins.
He cried at the pantry door until I got him some. Then we sat in the recliner and he ate his box of raisins. In the dark. While I was trying to go back to sleep. Normally I would already be up, but I don't have to be at work quite as early, so I was trying to enjoy it.
