Storage solution and monsters under the bed

There are toys running out of out ears. As we collect new ones, we haven't done a great job of putting old ones up for the next baby or donating them to the daycare. This week we finally sent some to daycare (visions of toy story 3---poor toys) and needed a better way to organize and store the things we have. There are trains, cars, Legos, and potato head parts all over the house and all mixed in together. Porter is just getting to the age where he likes Legos so I knew this would only get worse if we didn't take action. I had looked at several different toy boxes with cubbies and compartments, and found this at Walmart yesterday. It was the perfect size and the buckets had enough room to hold what we had, but with a little extra room. I still need another one for potato head parts and tools, but his is a great start.

Our sleeping problems are somewhat better, but now we are battling monsters again. He is scared to go in his room by himself and wakes up several times a night screaming and scared, not to mention waking at least once to go potty. He tells us every night when he goes to bed that he is not going to cry that night, but always wakes up one hour after going to bed, and then at least once more after that. He tells us that blue eyes, red eyes, and yellow eyes watch him at night from under his bed and they wake him up and scare him. He said they are just playing. This has been a consistent story for the last few days and Friday afternoon he was very clingy and didn't want to go in his room. He started talking about wanting to sleep with mommy and daddy or mommy sleeping with him from the time we got home from school, and constantly said he didn't want to go to bed. I guess it's a phase, but I really hope it is short lived.
