The Med Center

This is USA Medical Center as seen from the "chief's office."
It took 4 long years of residency to get to this point. I've got a little over 10 months left. Nobody can imagine what residency is like---even my mom and Jared. They hear about to everyday, but still don't understand what it's like to feel what I do on a daily basis. This is the hardest thing I've done so far in my life (I can't say I've raised a child yet). I'm not sure it was worth it yet. I hope it is, but in some ways, no amount of money can replace some of the things i've misses in te last 4 years and what I will miss this year.

  1. I really don't think you did this for the money. It's what you have wanted to do since you were a little girl. Back then you thought money grew on trees :)

  2. When I was little all you had to do was write a check, right???
I didn't do it for the money, but now I certainly understand the fact that money won't make me happy, and that my family is a higher priority than my job--and that's just what this is.
