This weekend so far...

We are at the beach yet again this weekend. Our friends Scott and Shannon have joined us this time. The non-pregnant people were planning on diving Saturday morning, and porter and I were going to stay at the house, but porter was not having that boat leave the house without him, so we decided to try him out since it was going to be a short trip. He actually did great. He fell asleep on the boat ride out to the diving spots.






(Isn't my hair just lovely.) He ended up sleeping for about an hour.
When he woke up he just played on the boat and fed grapes to the fish.
We came back in around 11:00 and stopped at the crab flats to swim. The current was really strong, so we had to keep a hand on porter to keep him from floating off.









On the way back to the beach house, he fell asleep on Scott.






We spent the afternoon swimming in the bay at the beach house. Porter never went inside after we got off the boat. He went straight into the water. He swam until about 2:30. I made him get out to go take a nap. He went to sleep without any argument or whining and slept for almost 2 hours. He woke up crying and asking to go swimming. He had been outside on a boat or in the water for about 7 hours and that just easy enough.
This morning we are headed to church and then back to the beach house for more swimming. Late this afternoon our church is having a baptism service on the beach and Jared is getting baptized. I'm so excited and proud of Jared for taking this step of public profession of his faith.
